Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, or Cashier's Check upon any solvent Bank or Trust Company, to Owner in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid security of the two low bidders will be retained until approval of contract and execution of satisfactory bonds by the successful bidder, or until other disposition on the bids is made. Base Bid and Alternate Amounts may be awarded in any order by discretion of Owner. The bonds required will be a Performance Bond, a Payment Bond, and a Maintenance Bond, each in the full amount of the contract. Shawnee Schools will not accept letters of credit in-lieu-of any bond required herein. The bidder (Proposer) must supply all the information required by the bid and proposal form including completion of affidavits or his bid will be considered incomplete and rejected. Shawnee Public Schools may request of any bidder, before his bid is considered for award, that he submit a statement of facts as to his previous experience in performing work of the same character and magnitude, as to his business and technical organization, and financial resources and plant available and to be use in performing the contemplated work. Each bidder must have such information, together with a recent financial statement, available upon request. whole work under this contract will be awarded as a single contract to the lowest responsible bidder for the work contained in the drawings and specifications. No bid may be withdrawn for at least forty five (45) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Shawnee Public Schools reserves the right to evaluate bids, to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in any bid
