Site work and renovation of a residential development in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

The FITCHBURG HOUSING AUTHORITY, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Wallace Tower Interior and Exterior Renovation at State Aided Development: Wallace Tower (667-3) in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by BH+A. The Project consists of but not limited to: Modernization of (130) one-bedroom apartments interiors including bathrooms, Kitchens, Flooring, Hazamat Abatement, exterior windows an doors and complete ground floor renovation with a new addition at Wallace Tower, Fitchburg Housing Authority. This is a pre-qualified project and the bid documents will be distributed only to pre-qualified General and File Sub bid contractors selected through a separate RFQ pre-qualification process. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, General Building Construction, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 04/10/2024 at 12:00PM EDT for general bids. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates) and made payable to the FITCHBURG HOUSING AUTHORITY. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% of the final contract price including accepted alternates. Request for waivers must be sent to EOHLC (david.mcclave@mass.gov) 5 calendar days prior to the General Bid date. NO WAIVERS WILL BE GRANTED AFTER THE GENERAL BIDS ARE OPENED.
