Renovation of an educational facility in Kailua, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**As of December 20, 2023, project was awarded to Inspired Play LLC with awarded amount is $45,373.98.** Furnish materials equipment and labor necessary to install Removeable Aisle Handrails for existing bleacher system at the Kailua High School Gym. Remove existing sockets and prep for new socket installation Furnish Irwin Removable Aisle Rails for existing bleacher system 54 handrails and 54 mounting sockets, or preapproved equal which features: Continuous loop design (candy cane style) to minimize potential patron hazard Installed rails shall allow generous depth to make ascending or descending safer and more comfortable Aisle rails to be constructed from 1- 1/2 " round tubing for a natural and comfortable grip Aisle rails will be installed on center and end aisles Aisle rails will be installed in an In-line design, no staggering of rails This project is tentatively scheduled to commence upon award of a purchase order and be completed by January 31, 2024. Onsite work shall be scheduled to begin upon receipt of the equipment, and all work must be completed by January 31, 2024 Working hours shall be 7:00 am thru 3:30 pm Monday thru Friday unless otherwise instructed by school officials. No weekend and State holiday work shall be permitted. Asbestos-containing building materials and lead-containing paint may be found in the limits of work for this project. Please work with the School on final locations prior to installation. All work shall be per manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and shall be performed to industry standards. The Contractor shall comply with all current local, State, and National ordinances and applicable uniform building code including UBC and N.E.C.. Any additional work requested by school officials, discrepancies or unforeseen conditions, the Contractor shall contact and inform the Project Coordinator. Any project cost changes must be approved by the Project Coordinator. Along with the manufacturer's standard warranty, a one (1) year written Contractor warranty on all new work (workmanship and materials) shall be provided to the School and shall be submitted with a project invoice requesting payment upon completion of the job. Upon award of jobs $2,500 and greater, the DOE will use the online Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE) system to verify the contractor's compliance documents. The contractor MUST be registered with HCE in order for an award to be made for jobs $2,500 and greater.
