Renovation of a civil project in Woodland, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Filter 2 and 3 Restoration and Media Replacement. Work on this project includes recoating and rehabilitation of an existing water treatment package filters, including recoating of each filter vessel, containment, replacement of filter and adsorption clarifier media, and structural reinforcement of corroded metal, if necessary. The Work shall be substantially complete within 250 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashier's check, or Proposal bond payable to the City of Woodland and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. This project is funded through the Washington State Drinking Water State Revolving Fund program with federal funds from the Environmental Protection Agency. The City of Woodland expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal. The Work shall be substantially complete within 250 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates. Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer. A fair share objective is a goal based on the capacity and availability of qualified, certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) in the relevant geographic market. As mandated by EPA, all general contractors and subcontractors must comply with the requirements of the EPA's Program for Utilization of Small, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises (40 CFR, Part 33) in procurement under the DWSRF program. The goals for the utilization of disadvantaged businesses are as follows: Construction 10% MBE 6% WBE Supplies 8% MBE 4% WBE Equipment 8% MBE 4% WBE Purchased Services 10% MBE 4% WBE Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer.
