The City of Griswold, Iowa, is soliciting bids from contractors for sidewalk snow/ice removal at properties that fail to clear their walks according to the ordinance. This contract will be for one year. Bidders will need to state their price per sidewalk and will bill the city after work is completed each time. The city will bill the property owner. The bidder must agree to have all walks cleaned within 12 hours of notification from City Hall after each snowfall. The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to refuse any or all bids.
