Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Griswold, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; road / highway; and road / highway.
Installation of approximately 1,800 linear feet of new sewer piping and associated structures, filling and plugging of approximately 600 linear feet of existing piping, and spot repairs of existing piping in the storm sewer system serving the City of Griswold. The project also includes the removal and replacement of sections of road pavement, city sidewalks, and several driveways where piping must be installed. Each bid shall be accompanied by bid security as defined in lowa Code Section 26.8, and in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the bid, as specified in the Bidding Documents, as security that if awarded a contract, the bidder will enter into a contract at the prices bid and furnish the required performance and payment bonds and Certificate of Insurance. The Project has an expected duration of 4-5 months. Work shall commence upon the receipt of a written Notice to Proceed, but not before May 1, 2024. Work shall be substantially completed on or before November 30, 2024. By virtue of statutory authority, a preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the state of lowa All questions must be submitted in writing to Engineer at khassler@gbateam.com. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered.
