The project scope will involve the pumping and hauling between December 19, 2023 and April 30, 2024 of: At least 500,000 gallons and up to 3 million gallons of partially treated lagoon water (equivalent to agricultural irrigation water) From: Town of Hermosa Lagoons located adjacent to 198 Fairground Place, Hermosa, SD 57744 And hauling to: Hot Springs Wastewater Treatment Facility located at: S 4th St, Hot Springs, SD 57747. Up to 22,000 gallons can be hauled in a single day. Hauler will need to be able to pump into his tanker from the lagoons in Hermosa. Discharge at Hot Springs WWTF can be pumped or by gravity into underground storage tanks. All access roads will be plowed and maintained during the winter period by the town maintenance crews. Hauler must always obey all weight restriction laws. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive all informalities and to accept the bid that is to the advantage of and is in the best interest of the Town of Hermosa.
