State Weatherization Contractor Services Specialized trade construction and maintenance services Questions Due Date and Time December 28, 2023, 2:00 p.m The Department of Housing and Community Development ("Department") is issuing this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to obtain contractors to provide weatherization and energy efficiency services to households across the State of Maryland. Services generally include performing energy audits, the installation of energy efficiency materials and equipment, performing repairs, and other work for the health and safety of income-eligible single-family detached homes, duplexes, townhomes, or apartment buildings for both owners and renters, as further described in the Scope of Work. MBE Subcontracting Goal: 20% MBE with 10% Woman-Owned, 2% Hispanic American Owned & 3% Asian American Owned Subgoals VSBE Subcontracting Goal: 2% Contract Duration: Three (3) years with one (1) one-year option to be exercised at the Department's sole discretion. Project Cost Class C - $500,000 to $1,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
