Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in New Britain, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project will increase the capacity of the restaurant and allow for better handicap accessibility of the City owned club house which was constructed in 1931. The project will address the site work, structural modifications, utilities and other necessary components. ADA accessible entrances will be installed. This project will also create better visibility from the Hartford Rd. and allow for more convenient access to the facility which will increase restaurant patronage. As of November 30, 2023, this project is included in the City of New Britain's Fiscal Year 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and funding for construction is allotted in FY 2028. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
