Reference Number 0000336442 The City of Yonkers is seeking a transportation consultant to provide support in traffic data collection and analysis of the traffic patterns associated with McLean Avenue from Bronx River Rd to Kimball Avenue. The Consultant will collect traffic volume data and produce a Synchro Analysis of the corridor for the purpose of traffic signal coordination and optimization. BACKGROUND: This section of McLean Avenue suffers from congestion and traffic volume counts are required in order to optimize the traffic signal coordination. The City wishes to have traffic volume, turning movements and pedestrian/bicyclist data collected at six (6) signalized intersections along McLean Avenue. The data collection and Synchro Analysis will be summarized in a technical report, which will be presented to the City of Yonkers Department of Engineering.
