Site Directions: The project is generally located on the Northeast side of Eagle Butte, SD, along Hwy 212 on the site of the existing powwow grounds. The Project Includes the Following Work: Install a New 2,800 Sqft Two-story Wood Frame and Steel Building, Foundation, With Conference Area, Crow S Nest Observation, Exterior Stairs, Exterior Deck, and Mechanical and Electrical Rooms. Install a New 12,600 Sqft Circular Covered Wood Frame and Steel Powwow Arena Structure and Foundations With Portland Cement Thickened Edge Surfacing Under the Canopy Enclosing Grass Arena. Install Portland Cement Sidewalk and Thickened Edge Surfacing, Gravel Parking Lot Surfacing, Sanitary Service and Main, Water Service and Main, Secondary Electrical Service Extension, Exterior Lighting, Sound System, Portable Bleachers, Site Amenities, Site Demolition and Preparation, Site Grading and Excavation, Landscaping and Revegetation, Plumbing, Electrical, Hvac, Data and Communications. The Contractor shall, in all solicitation or advertisements for employees placed by or on behalf of the Contractor, state that all applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, race, creed, color, or national origin, and that a preference shall be applied for qualified Indian applicants The successful Bidder and subcontractors in performance of the construction work will be required to comply with all applicable federal labor laws including minimum wage rates decisions of the United States Department of Labor (Davis-Bacon Act) and the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. The prevailing wage scale on all federally funded construction projects will fall under the Davis-Bacon Act or TERO Wage Scale, whichever is higher or whenever a particular skill is not classified under the Davis-Bacon Act, unless the contract specifically states otherwise. A contractor must be a holder or provide a written covenant to obtain said license within the time of the acceptance for Bids.
