The City of Sacramento's Streetscape Maintenance section provides managerial and contract oversight to contractors maintaining safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing streetscapes that enhance and improve the quality of life in the City of Sacramento. The following standard outlines the scope of services and responsibilities required of the Contractor but may not be inclusive to the entire scope of services. The specifications outline the quantity and category of work required. The Nonprofessional Services Agreement (not included here) provides contract requirements such as insurance and licensing standards, code enforcement, hours of work, extra work authorizations, site service specifications, site locations, etc. LICENSING AND CERTIFICATIONS All maintenance and repair services shall be performed by a licensed Landscape Maintenance Contractor. At a minimum, the Contractor must possess the following licenses and certifications: State of California C27 - Landscaping Contractor License State of California Department of Pesticide Regulation Qualified Applicator License. To the extent that any such modifications may alter the specifications in the agreement, the City will evaluate the need to amend the contract. If the changes result in an increase or a reduction in the maintenance costs of the contract, said costs will be adjusted, mutually agreed upon by the City and Contractor, and incorporated into the amendment.
