This includes replacing (2) chillers and associated infrastructure and pumps, BAS replacement, selective tuckpointing at the 6-story building penthouses only, replacing the 4-story building roof, interior ceiling replacement, elevator renovations to meet code requirements (fire proofing back boxes, new pit ladders, new sump pump, waterproofing at 1 elevator pit), replacing VAVs and fan powered boxes and associated ductwork, replacing AHUs and associated ductwork and diffusers, refurbishing two (2) AHUs with new cooling coils and replacing associated piping, rebalancing the air system, fire escape renovation work, and providing new fire detectors at the ducts for AHUs. The Public Building Commission of Chicago (PBC) has invited all Class A and Class B Prequalified firms to bid on PBC Contract C1606, CIP Central Hearing Facility Roof and MEP Upgrades.
