Update: Funding for this project provides for upsizing the existing sanitary sewer to a new 36-inch diameter sanitary sewer main from a point along Avery Road near Deer Run Elementary to a point approximately 500 feet east of the terminus of Macewen Court. The need for this project was identified in the Deer Run Sanitary Sewer Modeling Report from 2012 and the Sanitary Sewer Modeling Update from 2019. Providing this improvement will increase system capacity and reduce the occurrences of sanitary system overflow and water in basement events in the Deer Run sanitary sewer collection system. This will also help to fulfill the obligations of the Director's Final Findings and Orders from the Ohio EPA. Detailed design is planned for 2025. Acquisitions are planned for 2026. The project is planned for bid in Fall 2026, with construction into 2027, pending site acquisitions.
