Questions will be answered and posted to Opportunities page on the OFCC website Project Description The Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections is looking to add two negative pressure rooms in each of our medical services areas throughout the state. This project currently includes 16 facilities, but we understand that our budget will not allow us to complete all the facilities, so we plan to prioritize the facilities once we figure out the cost per facility. The design will be specific to each facility, and we may need to create multiple GMP's to group facilities by location. The project goal is to minimize the spread of infectious diseases within our facilities and to protect staff and incarcerated offenders. Here are the 7 southern facilities that will most likely be part of the current project. DCI, LECI, MACI, CRC, SOCF, RCI, and SCI We understand that the project will include but not limited to some demo of existing spaces, new doors with the correct seal types, interlocking door hardware and frames, impervious floor, wall, and ceiling finishes, positive pressure vestibule, create doffing areas, and possible shower areas. Scope of Services The selected Construction Manager at Risk ("CM"), as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposal, will discuss and clarify with the Contracting Authority and/or Owner, the breakdown of the Agreement detailed cost components, to address the Owner's project requirements and refine the project schedule. Participate in the Encouraging Diversity, Growth & Equity (EDGE) Program as required by statute and the Agreement. As required by the Agreement, and as properly authorized, provide the following categories of services: provide constructability review comments on documents produced by the A/E during the Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Document stages; develop and maintain estimates of probable construction cost, value engineering, project schedules, and construction schedules; lead and manage the Subcontractor Prequalification and Bidding process, Construction and Closeout Stage.
