The deadline for bid addenda to be issued is Monday, January 15, 2024, until 4:00 PM., prevailing time. Last day for bid RFI’s shall be January 22nd, 2024 by 12 noon EST. All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond (original, no copy) payable to the Township of Cumru, in the amount of 10% of the net bid price. Except as otherwise provided by law, no bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof or one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days if the award is delayed by a required approval of another governmental agency or the award of a grant or grants. The Township of Cumru hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any/or all bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received, as permitted by law, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Project Description: Project consists of, generally, the construction of a new single story, with mezzanine, fire station approximately 22,908 gross square feet.
