Notice is hereby given by the City of Vancouver ("City") of its intent to contract with VanDriel Occupational Health and Safety consulting Group Inc. for the supply and delivery/provision of Confined Space Assessments. The City of Vancouver is seeking a consultant to Perform an inventory review and identify new confined spaces (according to the definition of the WSBC OHSR Part 9) throughout the City by reviewing design, engineering and as-built documents, as well as conducting field surveys and in-person visits to the spaces. Identify existing hazards and general control measures and assess the risks of the activities that take place in these spaces, in order to prepare and update the relevant database and ensure adherence to all the aspects of the confined space regulations. Review existing procedures to identify areas of improvement; as well as preparing, compiling, and/or updating standard operating procedures for entering and working inside spaces, entry permits, and emergency preparedness and response instructions, including rescue operations.
