Bids are requested for approximately 250 tons of liquid fluosilicic acid product (approximately 23% by weight as H 2SiF 6) to be used for fluoridating the water supply of the City of Minneapolis for a twelve-month period. The material to be supplied, the handling, packing, shipping and testing thereof, except where otherwise herein specified, shall all conform to the latest revision of AWWA Standard B703. The material shall also possess certification by an accredited organization in accordance with ANSI/National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) Standard 60. Deliveries will be accepted Monday through Friday after 7 a.m. and off-loading must be completed by 3:00 p.m. Material shall be delivered F.O.B. by tank truck of approximately four thousand (4,000) gallon capacity to the following locations: a. The contractor shall furnish a certified copy of the analysis prior to or with each shipment upon delivery.
