Janitorial Cleaning Contract. All bids must be submitted online through online and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to NORTH WALES WATER AUTHORITY. A Surety's Consent must accompany all bids. Said surety must be licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania The successful bidder shall be bound to furnish and pay for a Performance Bond and a Labor ('Public Works Contractors' Bond Law of 1967," P.L. 869, 8 P.S. 191 et seq) & Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the contract price on bond forms acceptable to NORTH WALES WATER AUTHORITY. The successful bidder shall take affirmative action to ensure that applicants for employment and employees or agents are treated without discrimination based upon race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, sex, or disability. The contract will be awarded to a responsible bidder; however NORTH WALES WATER AUTHORITY reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law.
