The City of Vista (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified design-builder entities (DB) for the Wíivay Park Project (CIP No. 8905) (Project). The selected DB will provide the City with civil engineering design, landscape design, and construction services for the project. This Request for Proposals (RFP) includes a description of the project, proposal requirements, criteria for selection, and scope of services to be provided by prospective DBs. The selected DB must provide a design-build team (DBT) for the Project comprised of professional engineers, sub-consultants and sub-contractors. All DBT members must be licensed/registered in the State of California under their respective professions. Interested DBs shall review and utilize the data provided in this RFP and Appendices, previous relevant work, and additional resources during the proposal phase, to determine the necessary level of effort required for the Project. Deadline for Questions:December 7, 2023, 2:00pm City Council Award (tentative):February 27, 2024 The Wíivay Park Project will construct a small fitness park and trail loop on City property (APN 176-300-59) located on the easterly end of Townsite Drive and adjacent to 740 Paseo Buena Vista, Vista, CA 92084. The project vicinity map, including scope of work, is provided in Appendix C. The City is responsible for obtaining all applicable permits including environmental permits to complete the Project. The DB will be responsible for any damage to any property of the City, or private property resulting from use, occupancy, or presence of DBT on or about the construction site during Project completion. The DB may not seek reimbursement from the City for such damages.
