Furnishing all labor, services, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation, utilities and all other items and facilities necessary therefore, as provided in the Contract Documents, for the "As-Needed Asphalt Concrete Speed Bumps and Berms, CIP No. 8361" in strict accordance with this Specifications on file in the City of Vista Engineering Department. The Agency intends to award a three year (36-months) Contract to the low bidder for the "As-Needed Asphalt Concrete Speed Bumps and Berms, CIP No. 8361" with the possibility of one (1) optional successive one-year renewal period, at the Agency's full discretion. Question Deadline 01/29/2024 at 2:00 PM PT All question must be submitted through city's electronic bidding system. The Work generally consists of: mobilization, traffic control, cold milling, installation of asphalt concrete speed bumps, asphalt concrete berms (dikes), striping, thermoplastic, signage and other related work. The Work to be constructed is located throughout Vista, California on an as-needed basis. Each Task Order will contain an exhibit showing specific location, dimensions of speed bump or length of berm, location of signage, temporary striping and thermoplastic proposed. See Appendix for an example Work Order. PERIOD OF CONTRACT The initial term or period of the contract shall be three years (36-months) from date of award with the possibility of one (1) optional successive 12-month renewal period.
