As of April 9, 2024, the project was awarded to Moore's Electrical and Mechanical Construction Inc., but the awarded amount is not available. Bids will be received for a Single Prime Lump Sum General Construction Contract. The
Contractor and all Subcontractors shall have valid North Carolina General Contractor's Licenses
for the type and value of the work to be performed.
The Project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise
specified, for the complete and operable installation of:
OWASA desires to pro-actively replace a select number of components to improve safety
in two stairwells and the venturi room in the Anaerobic Digester Building at the Mason
Farm WWTP. The "Digester 3 and 4 Building NFPA Study" (June 2023) identified specific
components that should be replaced and identified the appropriate electrical classification
for each area. The existing components will be replaced with components that are
appropriately rated from an electrical classification perspective. The project includes
furnishing and installing select switches, lights, conduit seal offs, thermostats, control
panel modifications and all associated appurtenances as described in the Specifications
and as shown on the Drawings.
The foregoing description shall not be construed as a complete description of all work required. Orange Water and Sewer Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to
waive any and all informalities, and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional Bids or counter
Bids, and to accept the Bid that will be in the best interest of Orange Water and Sewer
