The City of Red Bank, Tennessee is seeking Requests for Proposals (RFP's) for the following professional service: licensed and insured contracting companies to remove one underground storage tank located at 1801 Pine Breeze Road. Scope of Work includes the following: The contractor is required to pull all permits associated with this type of work. Remove (1) 30'X32' Canopy and (6) columns. Saw, cut, excavate, and remove (1) 10,000-gallon steel tank and associated piping. Remove (1) single hose Gas boy dispenser. Remove (1) island form. Remove (1) TLS350. Remove (1) E-Stop. Saw, cut, and remove the existing concrete/asphalt lot: SIZE 46' X 36' 6" Tank will be Empty prior to arrival on Site. Removing the existing tank and disposing of same in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local Requirements. Provide Certificate of Disposal. Stockpile the excavated material on polyethylene until soil tests are performed. Obtain Soil samples as listed below - per State requirements from the tank pit from the stockpiled material from the piping trench (every 20') from beneath each dispenser Sample Analysis is based upon Standard Turnaround. Backfill the Tank Excavation with the Following: To existing sub-grade Previously Excavated Material providing it is otherwise suitable for backfilling. Pour back the previously removed section of concrete. Questions regarding this RFP should be directed to Facilities Manager, Justin Headrick.
