Generator Annual Maintenance and Repairs Contract Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers, check or bid bond payable to the City Treasurer of the City of Perth Amboy, as a guarantee that of contracts is awarded to him, and he will enter into a contract therefore. The amount so deposited shall be ten percent (10%) of the bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-14 provides that the Governing Body of any municipality may provide the form and manner of approval of all guarantee, indemnity, fidelity or other bonds required The Purchasing Agent reserves the right to reject all bids if deemed in the best interest of the City of Perth Amboy to do so and his actions are subject to the approval of the Mayor and Council of the City of Perth Amboy.
