Provide Labor and Materials: ADDENDUM #1 o Replace the existing motor with a new long block motor. o Provide 3-year warranty. o Generator Service to include servicing the cylinder heads, replacing generator parts, oiling the machine and restoring it to full and intended functional operation. 1) Pick up the (5) cylinder heads and take them to the machine shop. 2) The (5) cylinder heads will be cleaned, Magna Fluxed, and pressure tested. 3) Return and install the cylinder heads. 4) Replace the cylinder head bolts. 5) Replace the Camshaft. 6) Replace (10) Lifter and Push Rods. 7) Replace (5) injector pumps with nozzles. 8) Replace the fuel lift pump. 9) Replace the actuator. 10) Replace the fuel filters and oil filter. 11) Replace the fan belt. 12) Replace the engine thermostat. 13) Replace the upper and lower radiator hoses. 14) Replace (8) gallons of engine coolant. 15) Replace (6) gallons of engine oil. 16) Contractor to secure necessary permits. 17) Contractor to field verify dimensions and specifics of all projects listed above before placing bid. 18) Not responsible for contractor errors as a result of non-field verification. 19) Materials and installation must comply with CPS Standards and Specifications as listed on a) SECTION 26 32 13 ENGINE GENERATORS 20) Secure job site overnight if work is not completed in one day. 21) If building or CPS properties are damaged during construction, contractor to replace and/or repair as necessary. 22) Provide necessary labor and materials to fix/correct issues preventing any or all of the projects to be marked as completed. 23) All work shall be coordinated with the Board authorized representatives to complete in an agreed upon time frame. 24) Contractor is to remove and dispose of materials torn out and any construction debris. 25) All trash must be removed off-site by contractor. 26) Clean the surrounding area and make sure all is swept of debris. 27) All questions/requests must be received two (2) business days prior to bid closing. Each Bidder must include in their Bid the premium cost for the performance and payment Bond in the full amount of their contract, when the project is over $50,000. If the Bidder fails to furnish the performance bond within seven (7) days after acceptance of the Bidder's Bid, by the Board, the Bid acceptance maybe rescinded and the Bidder maybe precluded from further Bidding with the Board. The performance Bond must be issued by a surety acceptable to the Board and Licensed by the State of Illinois. If bid price is over $25,000, you MUST submit a bid bond at time of bid.
