DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Contractor shall renovate 1,532 S.F. of practice room space in the basement of Schoenberg School of Music. The rooms included in the scope of work are: B301, B305, B307, B309, B311, B315, B316, B317, B318, B319, B320, B321, B322, B323, B326, B125, B126, B130, B132, B138 and B140. Work includes demolition and abatement, new walls, ceilings, insulation, lighting, power and data, acoustic panels, flooring and finishes. The existing rooms will receive new acoustic treatments on the walls and ceiling in order to achieve the optimal sound for students practicing within the rooms as well as provide sound dampening between rooms.
