Request for Proposal on Electronic Monitoring for DCDC Community Corrections and Douglas County Youth Center: Douglas County is requesting proposals from qualified companies, herein called Bidder, Contractor, Vendor, Supplier, or other pronouns used in their place, for all work and/or goods set forth in the specifications. Questions Deadline: 11/20/2023 02:00 PM (CT) QUESTIONS: Bidders must submit bid questions in the Questions tab of the bid event. Questions will be answered within one (1) day of the questions cutoff date/time. Each respondent is responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure their submission is received and complete by the listed closing date and time. The County is not responsible for technical difficulties and will not allow late submissions due to the same. INSURANCE: No certificate of insurance required. AWARD: All purchases, leases, or contracts which are based on competitive proposals will be awarded according to the provisions in the Request for Proposal. Douglas County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, wholly or in part, or to award to multiple vendors in whole or in part. Douglas County reserves the right to waive any deviations or errors that are not material, do not invalidate the legitimacy of the proposal, and do not improve the vendor's competitive position. All awards will be made in a manner deemed in the best interest of Douglas County. PERFORMANCE BOND: No performance bond is required. CONTRACT PERIOD This Contract shall be for a term of three (3) years beginning from date of award and shall automatically renew for two (2) additional two (2) year periods unless either party provides written notice of termination to the other ninety (90) days prior to the end of the initial term or any subsequent renewal term. REJECTIONS OF PROPOSALS Douglas County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, wholly or in part. Douglas County reserves the right to waive any deviations or errors that are not material, do not invalidate the legitimacy of the proposal and do not improve the vendor's competitive position. All awards will be made in a manner deemed in the best interest of Douglas County.
