The State Highway Administration (SHA) is soliciting bids for a qualified contractor to provide Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems preventative maintenance, service repairs and emergency services for the equipment and systems at the SHA Golden Ring Maintenance Facility, Bear Creek Bridge House, and Rt. 7 Salt Barn Facility. Pricing is for both the preventative maintenance work and time and material pricing for service repairs and emergency services as indicated on the attached bid sheet. This bid is for the preventive maintenance and repairs to the HVAC Systems, ice machine equipment and related items located at Md SHA Golden Ring Maintenance Facility, 8375 Pulaski Highway, Rosedale, Maryland 21237, the Bear Creek Bridge House, and Rt. 7 Salt Barn. The work includes all labor, materials, parts, service, equipment, and transportation to ensure the satisfactory performance and efficient operation of the heating, ventilating, air cooled chiller, air conditioning equipment and ice machine, including any gas, oil, propane, or electrical services. Questions regarding this contract must be submitted to the procurement officer in writing at least three days prior to the bid opening. Question Deadline 12/15/2023 The term of this contract is for two calendar years. This is a non-exclusive Contract. It does not include all the work expected to be performed in the designated areas. Therefore, at times, other Contractors may be performing similar work that is not associated with this Contract. There will not be a pre-bid conference for this contract. Questions regarding this contract must be submitted to the procurement officer in writing at least three days prior to the bid opening. Prices submitted in response to this solicitation are irrevocable for ninety (90) days following the due date. The Procurement Officer may, however, request vendors to extend the time during which the State may accept their bids. Once a bid is accepted, all prices, terms, and conditions shall remain unchanged throughout the contract period. This solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with COMAR 21.05.07 - Small Procurement Regulations ($50,000 or less).
