Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Beaumont, Texas. Working plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
The City of Beaumont is seeking Proposals from qualified Contractors to inspect, adjust, repair and/or replace an existing rigging system, install a motorized fire curtain system, and install new stage drapes and related materials. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to accept any proposal or combination of proposals deemed advantageous to it. Question Deadline 12/14/2023 at 10:00 AM CT SCOPE The existing counterweight rigging system is needing to be inspected, adjusted, repaired and/or replaced with upgraded hardware and rigging materials. In addition, proposals shall include the installation of a motorized fire curtain system as well as the replacement and installation of all stage curtains and accessories. All work performed by the Contractor shall be in accordance with applicable City of Beaumont building and electrical codes. Any electricians employed by the Contractor and its subcontractors shall hold a valid license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
