The Alabama State Port Authority will be accepting bids on the following or approved equal. Please direct technical inquires to Kevin Clark @ (251) 441-1927. Forklifts with the following specifications: Minimum Lifting Capacity 81,000 lbs. 8 Foot Forks Machine must have designated lifting points so that it can be lifted by crane and placed in cargo hold of vessel. Must have front mounted cab. (Mid mounted machine will not be allowed) Fully boxed frame/chassis. Foam Filled Tires Will accept New or Used Model with less than 60 hours. New or Used machines must come with full factory warranty. Warranty period will start on the date of delivery. ASPA reserves the right if needed to increase or decrease this order for the following 24 months from when this bid is awarded without going out for bid if the vendor agrees to the same price and conditions set forth in this bid. The Alabama State Port Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids deemed for the interest of the Alabama State Port Authority, to strike out any item or items in the bids, and to waive any defect or irregularly not a violation of law or to make any modification in the several conditions herein stipulated that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Alabama State Port Authority, including the separation of items of a class in making awards. In general, awards will be made to the lowest satisfactory vendor. Leadtime will be a factor in awarding of bids. Pricing must remain valid for a minimum of 45 days.
