Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a 263,000-square-foot, seven-story above grade, one-story below grade educational facility.
UI Health Sciences Academic Building is a new 263,000GSF academic building containing three academic programs located on the northeast corner of Melrose Ave and South Grand Ave. The project contains a seven and four story wing with a central core connecting the two wings. There is an 18,000SF partial lower level under the seven-story wing which houses program and mechanical spaces. Additionally, the seventh floor is 18,000SF and is dedicated as the mechanical penthouse. Direct all inquiries to the construction manager.
