This project generally includes complete pavement and sidewalk reconstruction, replacement of existing sanitary and storm sewer system, upgraded water main, new landscaping features, new pedestrian and roadway lighting, and is located along Dubuque Street, between Iowa Avenue and Washington Street in Iowa City, Iowa. Specified Early Start Date: March 25, 2024 Specified Late Start Date: April 8, 2024 Proposals will be acted upon by the City Council at a meeting to be held in the Emma J. Harvat Hall at 6:00 P.M. on the 2 nd day of January, 2024, or at special meeting called for that purpose. The Project will involve the following: removal of existing and installation of approximately 930 linear feet of new storm sewer; installation subdrain and roof drain trunk line; removal of existing and installation of 400 linear feet of new sanitary sewer; abandonment, capping and removal of existing water main; installation of new water main, hydrants, fittings and services; removal of existing and installation of approximately 3,850 square yards of street and sidewalk pavement; lighting, irrigation, electric and parking meters; installation of landscaping features including plantings, pavers, mulch, limestone blocks, bicycle racks, litter receptacles and benches. The project is located on S. Dubuque Street between Iowa Avenue and E. Washington Street in Iowa City, Iowa.
