No bids received by owner UIHC - Boyd Tower - L7 Pharmacy Robot Replacement & Medical Carousel Installation Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at Boyd Tower, Level 7, 200 Hawkins Drive, Iowa City, Iowa, b. The Constructor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on Drawings dated 11/14/2023. c. Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that not every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may be specifically mentioned. d. General Description of Work: 1) Project consists of preparations for new robot and med carousel installation on level 7. Includes demolition of existing partitions, plumbing, lighting, fire protection and low voltage devices on level 6 and level 7. Provide new carbon fiber structural reinforcement to the underside of level 7. Installation of new partitions, ceiling, plumbing, fire protection, wall protection, and other is required. 2) Alternates: None. 3) Allowances: Allowances shall include the costs of materials, supplies and equipment delivered to the Worksite, less applicable trade discounts and including requisite taxes, and unloading and handling at the Worksite, unless specifically stated otherwise. The Constructor's Overhead and profit for the allowances shall be included in the Contract Price, but not in the allowances. The Contract Price shall be adjusted by Change Order to reflect the actual costs when they are greater than or less than the allowances. Allowance 1: Cleaning of ICRA Vestibule at Pneumatic Tube Station - Contractor shall include an allowance in the Contract Sum (Base Bid) in the amount of Four thousand ($4,000) for regular cleaning of the ICRA Vestibule at Pneumatic Tube Station on level 7. Allowance 2: Owner's Equipment Installation Assistance - Contractor shall include an allowance in the Contract Sum (Base Bid) in the amount of Four thousand ($4,000) for floor protection, touch-up paint, trash removal, etc. for work by Owner's Vendor (Omnicell) to install new pharmacy equipment on level 7.
