Saving Project...

Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Cambridge, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,600-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.

**As of January 30, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. The Project is expected to be awarded on February, 2024.** Obtain bidding documents directly from the owner. The Commissioners of Cambridge are soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the renovation of an existing 2,600 sq. ft. shed building which will become the new Cannery Park Event Pavilion. The renovated building will include new restrooms, a covered picnic area, performance space and a loft for mechanical equipment and storage. The successful bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date specified in a written Notice to Proceed from the Owner, and to fully complete the project within 270 calendar days. Bidders shall visit the site before submitting a bid for this work and thoroughly familiarize themselves as to the accuracy and correctness of the same. The City of Cambridge reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive informalities or irregularities as it may deem best for its interest. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Owner of five-percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. The Owner reserves the right to choose a combination of base bid and/or alternate bids, from any, or all, parts of the bid proposal form.
