Site work and paving for a road / highway in Saline, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Rehabilitation of the roadway and replacement of associated infrastructure at Woodhill, Marlpool, Forest Brooke, and Forest Brooke Court. Preliminary design work has been completed. Issues identified include road width and tree canopy impacts, with the current proposed width dramatically reducing the tree canopy. Additional survey of residents' storm sewer discharge needs for finalizing storm sewer design. Project is currently on hold as funding source is still being identified. Residents will receive a direct mailer to a public engagement meeting when consultant engineer is identified. As of December 20, 2023, this project is included in the City of Saline's FY 2024 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Preliminary design has been completed and the project is currently on hold. Information regarding a design team and the contractor selection has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
