Site work for a water / sewer project in Barbourville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of December 18, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. Anticipated to be awarded to the low bidder.** KY 225 Bridge Over Tye Fork Waterline Relocation This contract consists of relocating 240 L.F. of 6" waterline with a +/- 130 LF PE directional bore stream crossing, +/- 110 LF of PVC and all necessary appurtenances. Any bid that is obviously unbalanced may be rejected. Knox County Utility Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities. Bidders must have experience with similar type projects. A list of references will be requested and thoroughly reviewed. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days. The Bidder awarded the contract shall furnish insurance as required, in the General Conditions. This contract shall be completed within 30 calendar days after date of authorization to start work. Liquidated damages will be $800 per calendar day. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
