The City of West Sacramento is accepting sealed bids from qualified contractors for Fire Station 43 Tenant Improvement Project to be received Question Deadline 12/22/2023 at 5:00 PM PT Bid questions are to be submitted through the Bidding System This Invitation to Bid (ITB) is for the construction phase of the Fire Station 43 Tenant Improvement Project. The City is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to complete the project. The estimated construction cost around $410,000 The work of this contract includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, rework, and services necessary to partially renovate 654 square footage of existing City of West Sacramento Fire Station 43. The Scope of Work to include: Demolition, patching, repairing, framing, sheathing, casework, painting, ceiling and flooring installation, and upgrades to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, and other tasks specified in the plans and specifications. Areas to be renovated: 164 square footage in bathroom alterations: 69 square footage accessible single-occupant bathroom 95 square footage pair of standard single-occupant bathrooms 356 square footage in dorm room alterations: 127 square footage accessible dorm room 229 square footage pair of dorm room 134 square footage in circulation alterations related to the above This project also includes add alternates: Alt 1: path of travel - openings Alt 2: path of travel - entry paving Alt 3: interior paint at other conditioned areas F. Plumbing: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. G. HVAC: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. H. Electrical Power and Lighting: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. I. Fire Alarm: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. J. Telephone: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. K. Security System: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation Prevailing Wages. Proposers are hereby notified that the DIR has determined the general prevailing rate of wages for each craft, classification, or type of worker needed to execute the work. Copies of the current schedules for California prevailing wages are located in the City's office, and the contents of those schedules are included herein as if set forth in full. Licensure and Special Certification. The City reserves the right to amend, cancel, or reissue this bid at any time and at its sole discretion. Any amendment shall be in writing and posted to the City's e-Procurement portal. A potential Proposer is solely responsible for clicking "Follow" on the main page to receive notifications and shall be solely responsible for complying with such notifications.
