The city of Carrollton, hereinafter referred to as the City, seeks bids from construction companies, trained and qualified in providing construction/renovation services for historical structures. The city of Carrollton is seeking to obtain a contract with a contractor to perform renovations at the historical A.W. Perry Homestead in Carrollton. The renovation/construction services shall be provided as deemed necessary to meet the contract requirements. The contractor shall provide services as described herein and shall provide all labor, material, appliances, tools, equipment, transportation, and services necessary for and incidental to performing all operations in connection with the execution of this document. The vendors will be responsible for checking the web site for any posted addenda. - Exterior restoration of an historic farmhouse and two out-buildings, known as a shed and smokehouse - Roofing replacement, siding and trim repairs - Prep and painting on all three structures using standards specified in the description of work that shall apply for the main structure as well as the out-buildings - Remove accessible ramp on west side of the main structure and install platform lift per specifications. - Installation shall be as per the lift manufacturer's guidelines. Lift installation will include a gate at porch level and wood railing as indicated on drawings. - Install new accessible sidewalk with brick-paver finish from the parking area to the farmhouse, as detailed on site plan - Work includes minor interior restoration of the farmhouse, as described - Work includes site construction, general construction, mechanical and electrica
