The purpose of this synopsis is to notify the industry of the USAF intent for contract action and to gain knowledge of potentially qualified sources and their size classifications (SBA Certified 8(a) Program Participant, SBA Certified HubZone Firm, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, Woman-Owned Business, small business, large business, etc.). The 9th Contracting Squadron located at Beale Air Force Base, California, 95903, is seeking information about potential qualified sources to provide Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) construction projects that encompass most types of real property maintenance, repair, and construction work at Beale AFB. The Contractor shall provide a broad range of maintenance, repair, alteration, and minor construction projects on real property at Beale AFB, California. Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, plans, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, management, quality assurance, and other services (including engineering, surveying, and technical design support) items, and incidentals necessary to complete negotiated projects / task orders (TOs). SABER contracts provide a streamlined means to complete construction projects estimated at less than $1,000,000.00. Pricing for each task order will be dependant on the utilization of the Cost Data Book, RS Means accompanied with a cost city index of Sacramento, and applying an approved Contractor Coefficient. The performance period will be 1 base year and four option years, for a total possibility of a 5 year contract. Estimated value of the contract is to be $5,000,000.
