A timeline for award is March 4th.** This Project requires a valid California contractor's license for the following classification(s): Class A The Project must be fully completed within 120 calendar days from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. City anticipates that the Work will begin on or about 03/04/2024, but the anticipated start date is provided solely for convenience and is neither certain nor binding. The Bid Proposal must be accompanied by bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashier's or certified check made payable to City, or a bid bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California on the Bid Bond form included with the Contract Documents. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the Contract Price, as further specified in the Contract Documents. THE WORK SHALL CONSIST IN GENERAL OF PROVIDING ALL MATERIAL, LABOR, AND EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE SLOPE REPAIR PROJECT. WORK SHALL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO: MOBILIZATION, WATER POLLUTION CONTROL, TRAFFIC CONTROL, CLEARING 8c GRUBBING, EXCAVATION, SURFACE AND SUBSURFACE DRAINAGE SYSTEMS, SEGMENTAL BLOCK RETAINING WALL, GEOGRID REINFORCEMENT, COMPACTED FILL, BONDED FIBER MATRIX, PLANTING AND EROSION CONTROL MAT. The Project is located at Buchanan Road, between Quercus Lane and Heights Ave and is described as follows: The scope of work for this Contract includes, but is not limited to the repairing 2023 slope failure; and all other work necessary for a complete project in accordance with the Plans, and Specifications.
