Renovation of a mixed-use development in Maysville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility and water / sewer project.
This project will include making SCADA and security upgrades for the Town's water and sewer systems as well as providing electrical upgrades to various components of the Town's sewer system. The SCADA for the water system will include the water treatment plant, one office location, and cellular notification. The SCADA for the sewer system will include the wastewater treatment plant, Lift Stations 1, 2, 3, and 4, one office location, and cellular notification. A security camera will also be installed at the water treatment plant, wastewater treatment plant, all lift stations, and office location. The electrical upgrades for the sewer system will include installing 3-phase power, a 40-kW generator, and an automatic transfer switch at Lift Station #2. Other improvements at Lift Station #2 include raising the wet well by 6-12" to eliminate the extraneous water that occurs during rain events. *Project information, including timeline and contacts, has been obtained through public sources.
