The Technical College System of Georgia is accepting sealed bids on behalf of Southeastern Technical College for the installation of playground equipment at their Child Development Center at their Swainsboro Campus in strict conformity with their specifications and bidding documents associated with this project. The Child Development Center is located at 346 Kite Road, Swainsboro, GA 30401. This bid has been posted as an electronic bid event within the Team Georgia Marketplace system. o Prepare a 24'-6" x 28'-5" safety zone
o Level site surface in preparation for structure
o Pour in place a bonded-rubber safety surfacing, black mix, 2" deep for an area 31' x 25'
elevated on a concrete pad foundation
o Construct a 4" border around the playset
2) Vendor provides (1) commercial steel play structure that includes the following
o 6' transfer station
o 4' grocery store panel
o 7' double slide
o 7' left turn slide
o 3' bear face panel
o 3' line roof
o 3-barrel pebble climber with rails
o 2-36" elevated platforms
o 3.5-inch posts
o Green and earth-tone exterior
o All structures to meet current ADA, ASTM, and CPSC requirements and specifications for
playground equipment.
3) Site preparation, equipment delivery, installation, and clean up.
4) Installation must be completed by December 31, 2023.
