The City may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all proposals upon a finding of the City if it is in the public interest to do so. Project: The City of Silverton is requesting quotations for the Cleaning and Demolition of the Lime Silo Located at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Location and Existing Equipment: The City has Lime Silo located at 400 Schemmel Lane Silverton, OR 97381. The Silo is 48 Feet tall and 12-foot diameter with an additional 10-foot structure fixed to the top of the silo for Bin Activation and filling vent. Lime volume is 3,200 CU. Ft with approx. 1,500 CU. Ft. of Lime still in the Silo. The first 20 feet of the Silo House the volumetric feeder, feed cone, and mixing tank and electrical controls. The project consists of cleaning and removing lime from inside the silo and removingfrom the site, also included is the demolishing of the silo to leave an open concrete pad. All Materials shall be removed from the site location and disposed of in proper manner. The work consists of two tasks: 1) Cleaning and removal of Hydrated Lime. 2) Demolishing of the Lime Silo and all Components
