The cut-off date and time for receiving questions regarding this request for qualifications is 5:00 p.m. PST, on Friday, December 15, 2023. All inquiries must be made in writing and may be submitted to the email address Michelle Kempley, Purchasing Officer mkempley@cityofredding.org The City of Redding is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ's) from vendors who sell refurbished distribution transformers. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to establish a list of qualified vendors who can provide refurbished distribution transformers to supplement the City of Redding's transformer inventory. The City defines a refurbished transformer as any transformer that was originally manufactured prior to the date it was offered to the City of Redding that may or may not require additional work to return it to an operational state prior to delivery to the City. The list will be used for five (5) years from the time it is established. While a vendor must be on the list to be considered by the City, it does not guarantee that a vendor will receive any orders. The volume of purchases from a vendor will be dependent on City inventory needs and funding availability.
