As of October 21 2025, project was cancelled. Work under this contract includes the following SCOPE OF WORK as prepared by LRM Design in the Town of East Hartford. The scope of work for the Three-Season Porch at One Wood Pub includes but is not limited to demolition of the existing awning (not shown in the drawings) and a portion of the false mansard roof to expose exterior wall/parapet, excavate and expose the existing concrete footings to determine if they will need to be replaced with new and construct the new permanent structure on top of the existing slab. Construction is to include new tube steel frame, wood framed roof structure, roofing, siding, soffits, auto doors, glass, bluestone drink rail with steel supports and electrical. Proposals may be mailed to the Purchasing Agent, Town of East Hartford, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, 06108 by USPS, FedEx, or UPS, or delivered in person to the Office of the Purchasing Agent at the Community Cultural Center, 50 Chapman Place, East Hartford, Connecticut, 06108. Proposals may also be placed in the drop box located at 50 Chapman Place. Please note that the physical location of the Office of the Purchasing Agent is changing due to Town Hall renovations, but the mailing address remains the same. Requests for information (RFIs) will be accepted via email to the Purchasing Agent on or before FRIDAY, JANUARY 5, 2024. Bid security in the form of a 5% bid bond, payable to the Town of East Hartford, is required of all bidders and a 100% Performance Bond will be required of the awarded bidder. This contract is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of all bids, to waive any informality, and reserves all other rights as detailed in the Contract Documents when such action is in the best interest of the Town.
