As of February 5, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Project consists of a complete TPO membrane roof replacement for both clearwells (approximately 170' square), installation of a mixing system and THM removal system in Clearwell #2, and installation of safety handrails around the perimeter of both clearwells. Bidding Documents also may be examined at Carolinas AGC (plans available website Minority Economic Development Center: Charlotte, Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas: Charlotte; the office of the City of Kannapolis, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:30 pm. The office of the Engineer, LKC Engineering, PLLC, located at 140 Aqua Shed Court, Aberdeen NC 28315, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:30 pm. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
