Location: Helen Keller Park, 360 Sport Hill Rd, Easton CT 06612 Hours of work: Standard hours of work are seven (7) AM to four (5) PM, Monday through Friday, any time changes need to be confirmed with Director of Park and Recreation before initiating. Furnish and install approximately 540' of 5' high Galvanized Metal Chain Link Fence including -Two walk gates 5' High x 3 1/2 ' Wide - One Vehicle Gate 5' High x 10' Wide. The new enclosure to be installed in the same layout as the existing split rail fence; the existing fence is to be removed and properly disposed of by hired contractor. The new chain link fence will be built in accordance with the following specifications: o All materials will be heavy commercial grade spec galvanized metal. o End, Corner and Walk Gate posts to be 2 1/2 " OD SS20 pipe, weighing 2.29 Lbs. per foot, set in concrete footings 10" diameter x 36" deep o Line posts will be 2" OD SS20 pipe, weighing 1.75 Lbs. per foot, set approximately 10' on center in concrete footings 10" x 36" o Top Rail and Welded One Piece Gate Frames will be 1 5/8" OD SS20 pipe, weighing 1.46 lbs. per foot. o Chain Link Fabric will be 2" x #8-gauge Class 2b wire (#9 Gauge Core) o Beveled Tension and Brace Bands, Steel Rail Ends, Steel Loop Caps, Steel Terminal Caps, 3/4 " Steel Tension Bars o All Gate Hardware and Fittings will be Industrial Weight Malleable Iron or Pressed Steel. o Bottom Wire will be #6 Gauge Marcelled Coil Spring Tension Coil Wire, attached to the bottom of the fabric with #9 Gauge Hog Rings. o Tie Wires to be Steel Core, #9 Gauge, spaced 15" apart on the posts and 24" apart on the top rail
