The project is located Grand Mission Municipal Utility District No. 2, approximately 150í north of the intersection of Lakehead Lane and Beechnut Street along Lake. It is located on Fort Bend County Key Map No. 526- K For construction contracts $50,000 and over but less than $250,000, the bidder shall submit a certified or cashier's check on a responsible bank in the State equal to two percent (2%) cashierís check or five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. For construction contracts over $250,000, the bidder shall submit either a two percent (2%) certified or cashier's check or a five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 60 calendar days from the date bids are open. All questions shall be submitted to the Engineer via online Question Deadline 12/18/2023 The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and plant to construct Lift Station No. 1 Rehab and Generator Addition, including but not limited to the replacement of the three existing pumps, pump bases, and guiderails; surface preparation and recoating the wet well walls; the application of concrete repair mortar to damaged sections inside the wet well as needed; the demolition and replacement of wet well riser piping for all pumps, complete with protective coatings; surface preparation and recoating the above ground piping, fittings, and valves; demolition, extension and replacement of the existing concrete wall as shown on the plans; installation of a new 50kW natural gas generator on a concrete equipment pad, complete with rehabilitation of the terminal boxes, terminal blocks, and wiring; installing duct seal at all wet well conduit penetrations; site paving modifications to accommodate a new generator; miscellaneous electrical control panel improvements; and all else shown on the construction drawings and detailed in the specifications for a fully functioning lift station.
