Plum Street Roundabout - City of Lancaster Question Deadline 01/11/2024 at 4:00 PM ET Questions shall be submitted Online. This project and contract are subject to certain special requirements. For example, as more specifically detailed in the contract documents, the successful bidder shall be required to assure protection against discrimination for employees, applicants for employment, and subcontractors on the grounds of actual or perceived race, color, sex, religion, ancestry, genetic information, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, familial status, marital status, age, mental or physical disability, use of guide or support animals and/or mechanical aids, and to make payment of certain minimum salaries and wages. The City of Lancaster is seeking bids from Pennsylvania Department of Transportation pre-qualified (prime or sub) contractors to construct a roundabout at Plum Street, New Street and Park Avenue. This project generally includes installation concrete sidewalks and curb extensions, speed humps, raised crosswalks, signage, pavement markings, lighting and landscaping. The City of Lancaster, PA reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid, which is in the best interest of the City. The lowest responsible bidder need not be the bidder submitting the lowest dollar amount bid. The City may consider the quality of services supplied, responsiveness of the bidder, past performance of the bidder, experience of the bidder, compatibility of the bidder's processes with other City services, and the bidder's ability to handle the volume of work proposed.
