Estimated Bid Value Start/Delivery Date After Notice to Proceed Project Duration Two Year Contract with five optional one-year extensions Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 11/14/2023 5:00 PM (PST) Scope of Services The City of Fresno's Department of Transportation/Fresno Area Express (hereafter referred to as FAX), in addition to providing public transit services within the City's boundaries, owns operates and maintains a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling facility which is located at 2223 G. Street, Fresno, CA 93706. FAX is initiating this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified contractors for the inspection, preventative maintenance, and repair services of its CNG fueling facility. The CNG fueling facility supports the operation of over 120 transit buses, municipal fleet, waste management fleet, and other private customers. On average FAX's CNG fueling station dispenses 2.9 million therms annually into motor vehicles. Other Details FAX currently has a third-party agreement to maintain and repair its CNG fueling facility which is due to expire in February of 2024. As a result of the pre-existing agreement, any award and work made under RFP 12400018 will take effect no sooner than March of 2024.
